Dear Distribution Partners,
Filmoplast is one of our absolute favorite liners – it offers so many possibilities! However, we have noticed that customers are unsure how to use it effectively. Today we are sharing the newsletter below. We believe it provides useful explanations.
Are you familiar with FILMOPLAST® and FILMOPLAST® STRONG?
The self-adhesive embroidery stabilizers allow an embroidery technique where only the stabilizer is hooped in the embroidery frame. All fabrics to be embroidered are simply placed on top. .
This offers numerous ingenious advantages:
Embroider delicate fabrics without frame marks.
Perfectly embroider small pieces of fabric without hooping.
Quickly and precisely embroider hard-to-hoop placements, such as collars, cuffs, straps, etc.
Embroider stretchable, elastic fabrics without distortion.
Embroider caps without using a cap frame.;
Embroidering with FILMOPLAST® and FILMOPLAST® STRONG is both easy and very economical!!

Hoop Filmoplast®, the checkered protective paper faces upwards.
Make a small incision on the paper and peel it off.
Stitch the placement stitches.
Attach the fabric to the adhesive side and stitch the design.
After stitching, carefully remove the fabric from the Filmoplast®.;
Pro Tip: The hole that is created when removing the stitched design can simply be covered with a piece of FILMOPLAST®. You can then embroider your next piece on the same spot. You only need to calculate the consumption of the small leftover piece required to close the hole for each embroidery.
The standard version for light to medium-heavy fabrics (e.g. T-shirts, polos, shirt collars)
The strong option for embroideries that require more stability (e.g. heavy fabrics, very stretchy materials, caps).
